Terrace Reservoir (Map #14)

Located west of Monte Vista, Terrace Reservoir is owned and operated by Terrace Irrigation Company but managed for public fishing and recreation by the Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

Nearest campground is located approx. 4 miles to the northwest along the Alamosa River. The no fee campground is managed by the Rio Grande National Forest and has 5 campsites with a vault toilet scheduled for the installation in the summer 2018. No water and no trash service.

Water Recreation

Water recreation is limited. The Colorado Parks and Wildlife is considering the installation of a boat ramp to improve access and promote more water recreation. Currently fishing is limited to shore due to limited access points.
