Located along the Animas River, Sutherland Farms is the largest family owned working produce farm and country market in San Juan County. The country store opens in mid-September, sellng fresh produce, canned goods and fresh baked items that are produced on the farms in our cannery/bakery to include delicious jams, fresh chile powders, pods and ristras & fall decorations. The Pumpkin Patch is open every weekend in October. School field trips are welcomed, please call to arrange a field trip.

While visiting, have a great burger with fresh green chile at the Purple Cow Kafe.
September During September we are making changes for the fall season. You will find apples, peaches, cider, winter squash, ornamental corn, gourds and pumpkins.
October This month is full of fun! Students begin visiting for Pumpkin Patch Field Trips during the week and weekends is our Pumpkin Festival for families.
