Edge of the Cedars State Park

Located in Blanding, Edge of the Cedars State Park is the site of a pre-Colombian Pueblo Indian ruin and a modern museum, which is the regional archaeological repository for southeast Utah. The museum dislays an excellent collection of Anasazi pottery and other exceptional ancient Indian artifacts. Additional exhibits display cultural materials and information about Navajo and Utah Indians.

You are able to take a self tour within the ruins and of special interest is taking the climb down into the reconstructable Kiva.

The "Trail of the Ancients" begins here and loops through to Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona.

Blanding is located 145 miles northwest of Aztec.
