Anasazi Heritage Center

Is a museum operated by the Bureau of Land Management. The museum features permanent exhibits, archaeological sites to visit, new and different special exhibits and events, traveling exhibits for loan, educational resources for teachers and a large research collection from the Dolores Archaeological Program (DAP) and other archaeological projects. Some of the exhibits describe fieldwork and laboratory research and display many of the objects from the DAP excavations. The center is located 3 miles west of Dolores, CO, and 81 miles northwest of Aztec.
