When you visit Aztec, your Walking Tour can begin at the Aztec Museum located at the north end of historic Main Avenue. The Walking Tour will take you along historic Main Avenue and into the historic neighborhood just east of Main Avenue. An informational guide identifying and describing each of the historic properties can be obtained at the Aztec Museum or Aztec Chamber of Commerce.  The guide will greatly enhance your walk through the historic district of Aztec and includes many interesting properties, a variety of architectural styles, and many unique places that are not on the National Register of Historic Places.
