The Aztec Museum
Contains one of the finest collections of authentic pioneer Americana. In addition, there is an extensive collection of mineral and fossils, Southwestern artifacts, early telephone exhibit, farm and ranch tools, and hundreds of historic photographs. Interviews of pioneer families and information on graves sites at Aztec cemeteries are also available. (Take a Virtual Tour)

The Pioneer Village
Takes you back into history as you stroll through and around numerous historic buildings, all reconstructed from original buildings in the area. Buildings used by the pioneers and early settlers in San Juan County include a reconstructed 1880 Pioneer Cabin, Blacksmith shop and Foundry, General Store, Koogler School House, and Citizens Bank to name a few of the buildings. There are approximately a half a dozen more buildings. Each building contains items found during that time period. (Take a Virtual Tour)

Historic Walking Tour
When you visit Aztec, your Walking Tour can begin at the Aztec Museum located at the north end of historic Main Avenue. The Historic Walking Tour will take you along historic Main Avenue and into the historic neighborhood just east of Main Avenue.
